We filmed our film opening on Friday, 20th November.
We decided to film our opening in Ware, along the high street, Tudor Square and The Priory.
The weather wasn't brilliant, it had been raining through the night so the floor was damp and the benches we had thought we might want to use were really wet so we had to change the positioning for some of the filming. It didn't rain while we were filming but it was very cloudy at times so we didn't have very good lighting but luckily this did not affect the shots, none of them were too dark. It was also quite windy so this affected the sound on the camera but we had already decided we would voice over once we had finished editing to create the opening we wanted, so the wind didn't matter so much and didn't stop Perry and Sam from performing their shots.
Over all, I would say, that our filming went really well, we got all the shots that we needed. We didn't have to change anything dramatically, we just got to the place we knew we wanted the scene to be filmed in and tried to work out the best way to film it and where would look right. Laura and I filmed the shots and we both had walk on parts in a scene but do not say anything. Perry and Sam were acting very well considering some of the looks we were getting from some people in the town.
