On this day myself, Laura and Jodie came into school during half term.
We met at 10.30 and got to work straight away. We were aiming to complete our video within the time we had (we were told we had to leave school by 2.30)we wanted more time but we couldn't do anything to change this. So we didn't manage to finish our final cut on this shot.
However throughout the day we managed too:
1) Finish the first verse, first chorus, second verse and second chorus as best as we could in the time limit
2) Put together a very rough draft of the anti-climax section of the song (reverse shot)
Editing:
When it came to complete our editing most of the first verse was already done. so we added in a reaction shot of Joe, we slowed this down to give the effect we wanted and it works well with the music.
After this we moved on to the first chourus we edited out bits we didnt want by using the cutting tools. to check it was all to time and fitted well with everything we do we play it back a couple of times and say if we think its slightly out and what we need to do to change it to make it fit better. We do this all on the reel.
Something we had a problem with was Jodie's lip syncing, it looks like she was singing too slow for the song, so we
